Wife to former Prime Minister Amama Mbabazi, Jacqueline has returned from the UK where she has been undergoing treatment. The Go Forward presidential candidate said his wife’s life is now out of danger.
Mbabazi’s wife Jacqueline was flown to London after suffering an illness that has not been made public but Mr Mbabazi promised that now that his wife has returned she will talk about it herself.
“When she went, she was in a life threatening situation but she is now fine and the doctors have worked on her, she has not fully recovered but doctors will be treating her as an outpatient and our doctors here can do that,” Mr Mbabazi said shortly after arriving at his Kololo home.
“I thank you for your prayers and the love you have showed us,” Mr Mbabazi told boda boda cyclists who escorted him and wife from Entebbe.
“We have now reached home, she will have some rest and tomorrow I am headed for Palissa to resume the campaigns, I don’t have time to rest,” said Mr Mbabazi.
